Gabby is an exceptionally talented interior designer who brings both creativity and practicality to her work. From the very beginning of our Artisan Home project, she took the time to truly understand our personal sense of style. Rather than imposing her own aesthetic, she thoughtfully translated our preferences into a design that felt authentic to us— striking a beautiful balance of warmth, approachability, and refinement.

Her ability to listen and interpret is one of her greatest strengths. Gabby is well-versed in current design trends, yet never feels bound by them. Instead of chasing what’s fashionable, she creates spaces that feel timeless and thoughtfully curated. She also approaches challenges with honesty and initiative. When issues arise—as they inevitably do in any design project—she addresses them directly and works toward practical, effective solutions rather than overlooking them. That kind of integrity builds trust and kept our project moving forward smoothly.

On a personal level, Gabby is genuinely pleasant to work with. Her professionalism is matched by her warmth, making the entire process enjoyable. Perhaps most impressive is Gabby’s instinct for decision-making. Whenever I felt stuck-whether choosing between colors, design elements, or scale-she had a remarkable ability to guide us toward the right choice with confidence and clarity. She was my go-to and she’ll be yours too! 

Gabby Laboy made my new home beautiful. We had so much fun working together and the results make me happy and joyful. Her professionalism, taste and sense of proportions were so helpful to me. Gabby's knowledge of all the better options out there for furniture, light fixtures, paint colors was extremely helpful. Without her it would have been somewhat overwhelming and the look and feel of our home would not be so perfect.

Building a new home is already overwhelming, and trying to pull together a cohesive design from scratch felt daunting. Hiring Gabriela Laboy (Gabby) was hands-down the best decision we made.  Working with Gabby turned what could have been a stressful process into one of the most enjoyable experiences — and the results are stunning. Our biggest fear before we hired Gabby was building a house that, in the end, we didn’t like. Our fears quickly subsided and we knew we were in good hands.

Her design aesthetic is truly special. She has this effortless ability to layer textures, colors, and finishes in a way that feels both curated and livable. Nothing looks too precious or overdone — it's warm, inviting, and completely tailored to how we live. She listened carefully to what we liked, pushed us just enough outside our comfort zone, and every single suggestion landed perfectly.

What really sets Gabby apart is how she translates a vision into reality. She sees potential in a space that you'd never notice yourself, and she makes decisions with such confidence and clarity that the whole process feels effortless on your end. Walking through our front door now genuinely stops us in our tracks. Guests constantly ask who designed our home. We couldn't be more grateful — this space reflects exactly who we are, and we wouldn't have gotten there without her.
